Prasidha Aneka to merge with subsdiariesfor efficiency

JAKARTA: PT Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk, an agricultural commodity processor and exporter in Indonesia, plans to merge with its subsidiaries, PT Aneka Sumber Kencana and PT Lampung Sumber Kencana Pelleting Factory, to promote efficiency and optimize resources.

In a statement published today, Prasidha Aneka, which wholly owns Aneka Sumber and Lampung Sumber, said that there is no change in basic capital and ownership structure in the company.

Innovest Offshore Ventures Ltd is the majority shareholder with 46.93% shareholding interest, Igianto Joe held 18.92%, PT Aneka Bumi Prasidha 9.48%, PT Aneka Agroprasidha 7.91%, Lion Best Holding Limited 7.77% and public 8.99%.

The structure of Board of Commissioners and top management will also be in the same formation. Jeffrey Sanusi Soedargo is the president director of this company and Mansjur Tandiono is the president commissioner.

The asset of Prasidha Aneka at the end of December 2010 reached IDR414.61 billion or jumped 17.24%. The sales rose 56.75% to IDR928.53 billion last year, while profit increased 7.22% to IDR46.25 billion. Yet, net income was more than halved, falling by 60.19% to IDR12.92 billion.

The company's share was traded last time on April 4,2011 at IDR70. (NOM)
