Arsenal's Premier League title hopes are effectively over after losing 3-1 at Stoke on Sunday.
The third-place Gunners are six points behind Manchester United and will be unable to catch the leaders if they at least draw with Chelsea in the late match.
Kenwyne Jones put Stoke ahead after latching on to a free kick from Jermaine Pennant, who went on to fire a deflected shot past goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny just before half time.
Although Robin van Persie pulled one back for Arsenal in the 81st minute, Jon Walters produced an immediate response for Stoke after Johan Djourou's poor clearance.
The win was good preparation for Stoke's meeting with Manchester City on Saturday in the FA Cup final.
